A New Look for Resonance

Resonance has recently undergone a quiet but important evolution.

Since its initial release, I’ve spent time reflecting on how the book presents itself—both visually and structurally. While the story itself remains unchanged, the way it is experienced has now been refined to better match the themes at its core: clarity, resonance, and emotional weight.

A Refined Cover Design

The updated cover leans more deliberately into the symbolic language of the novel. Rather than depicting characters or overt scenes, it focuses on atmosphere and metaphor: light, structure, and scale. The result is a cover that reflects what Resonance actually is—speculative, intimate, and slightly unsettling—without spelling everything out.

This wasn’t about making the cover “busier” or trend-chasing. It was about restraint. The aim was to create a visual that invites curiosity and carries meaning even after the book is finished.

Proper Typesetting for Print

Alongside the cover update, the interior has been fully re-typeset for print.

Early versions of the book were functional, but not optimal. The new typesetting improves:

  • Line spacing and readability

  • Chapter pacing and visual rhythm

  • Consistency across headings and breaks

Good typesetting is invisible when done well, but it fundamentally shapes how a story is absorbed. This update ensures the physical book reads smoothly, comfortably, and without distraction—particularly important for a novel that relies on tone and emotional momentum.

What Hasn’t Changed

The story itself remains exactly the same.

No scenes were added or removed. No revisions were made to the narrative. This update is about presentation, not revisionism. Think of it as giving the book the format it should have had from the start.

Availability

The updated edition is now live on Amazon, with wider distribution rolling out shortly via IngramSpark. If you’re picking up Resonance for the first time, this is the definitive version.

Thank you to everyone who has read, shared feedback, or simply taken the time to sit with the story. This update is part of a longer journey—one focused on doing the work properly, even when it takes a little longer.
